Gemini Vapor Alu with flexibility -10 ° C is a bituminous membrane with aluminum foil reinforcement coupled with polyester, rot-proof, ideal for the vapour barrier function, in compliance with the values required by UNI EN 13970 standards.


The compound employed in GEMINI VAPOR ALU membranes consists of a mixture of distilled modified bitumen, elasto-plastomeric polymers and atactic polypropylene; its excellent quality is highlighted by two indicators: low temperature flexibility (-10° C) and flow resistance at high temperature (120° C).

Membranes with good flow resistance at high temperatures are suited to any climatic zone, and are particularly indicated in areas with warm climates and for use in thermally-insulated roofing systems. Good cold flexibility enables an easy application of the membrane, an important feature in areas characterized by harsh climates.

The reinforcement used in GEMINI VAPOR ALU membranes is in rot-proof polyester coupled with an aluminum foil which guarantees absolute impermeability to water vapour.

These membranes are of fair performance. Their main function is to safeguard the effectiveness of the insulation by preventing the passage of steam from the internal environment to the insulating material.
