Solutions for Green Design of the Roof

General Membrane's attention foe environment and its interest in sustainable design led the Company to be certified ISO 14001, to become member of the U.S. Green Building Council in 2012 and to draw up a document which identifies General Membrane's systems and products capable to contribute to confer Leed credits (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

General Membrane's proposals for Green design are:

  • Cool Roof Systems for fighting the Heat Islands phenomenon: the Reflect Protection products range has been specifically studied to decrease roofings temperature, increasing in that way their service life and fostering photovoltaic systems installation.

  • Technical Specifications for realising green roofs, based on the use of antiroots membranes.
